Grüner Veltliner Hammergraben

Conglomerate gravel soil at the foot of the Wagram, deep loess, which is the foundation of the grapes for the Hammergraben.

Apple and citrus fruits, delicately spicy and zesty on the palate a lively wine. Well balanced acidity.

Grüner Veltliner Reserve

Wine description

Only highly ripe grapes are used for our Reserve Grüner Veltliner. Only in certain vintages, we can harvest grapes for a Grüner Veltliner Reserve.

Tasting notes: Mango, pear, fruity a well-balanced acidity give rise to a dense, close-knit wine with high potential.

Grüner Veltliner Scheiben

Wine description

Scheiben is one of the best Loess soil area in Wagram, the vines are planted deep and up to 40 years old.

Tasting notes

Inviting juicy aromas of dried fruit, melon, honey. A full-bodied wine with balanced structure, a creamy texture and a lot of fruit glaze.

Grüner Veltliner vom Wagram

Wine description

Grown on Loess soil. The wine is made from young Grüner Veltliner grapes from different vineyards in Wagram.

Tasting notes

Aroma of ripe yellow fruit (peach, apple) in the nose, on the palate fresh fruit acid with lively effect, light peppery spice.

Roter Veltliner Mitterweg

Wine description

It’s grown only in Wagram. This indigenous grape variety takes only 193 hectares of vineyards throughout Austria. It grows best on deep loss soil. A wine with high potential.

Ripe fruit flavours, melon, mango, dried fruit on the palate, full bodied, lively acidity, long juicy fruity finish.

Roter Veltliner vom Wagram

Wine description

It’s grown only in Wagram. This indigenous grape variety takes only 193 hectares of vineyards throughout Austria.

 

Tasting notes

Subtle ripe fruit notes, melon, pear, apple peel, on the palate dense texture, well balanced acidity, grapefruit on the finish and in the aftertaste.

Riesling vom Löss

Wine description

It grows on the prime location in Hammergraben, Brunnthal and Scheiben 270 meters above sea level, on deep loess soil.

 

Tasting notes

Deliciously refreshing, aromatic on the nose with notes of nectar of apples, apricots, peaches, pear. Good balance of sugar and acidity. On the palate tropical fruits, spicy.

 

Serving suggestions

Cheese, salads, any white meat.

Gelber Wagram Cuveé

Wine description

Cuveé of Riesling, Rivaner and Sauvignon Blanc.

Tasting notes

The wine is in the middle straw yellow with greenish reflections, on the nose gooseberry notes and delicate lining of white elderflower. On the palate it is fresh, some mango and passion fruit with perfectly integrated acidity.
